Sounds good I'm in. Keen for my first SAU cruise :)

I’m guessing you'll reschedule if it's raining?

Good to see the new boys getting involved too.

Will depend how much rain to be honest. If it rains a lot in the days before or the day of the weir in the national park will be closed and we'll probably have no choice but to cancel. Best advice is to always check the thread as much as possible in the days before and on the day so you don't miss any info

Ahhhh !! You said the " r " word.

I have scheduled for the day off for the last month and a half.

Im going rain snow or shine, however if it IS raining, we wont be going through the nasho, we will shortcut down the freeway to stanwell tops.

Obviously we wont have as good a turn out in the wet, but i will refuse to let the day down. The few brave souls who turn up ( if there is bad weather ) i will find a more relaxed spot to finish the day.

Here's hoping the weather is just windy or overcast.

I will make another statement saturday 10-11am, and again at 8:30 after i finish work.

There is a request for a highlands/wollongong meet up on the way to loftus.

Can i please have an indication of interest for this please? I am intending on being at loftus around 9:15 to attempt to be the first car there.

This would constitute a meet up at yallah shell around 8:00 -8:15.

Any updates to the meeting points along the way? I might wake my car up and bring it out but won't be going anywhere near the nasho, imo going through there is asking for trouble.

I'd be leaving from Turramurra so if anyone is keen to meet and head down beforehand, drop me a pm.

If your not keen on the nasho, you can always cut through helensburgh to stanwell tops, were we will be stopping for photo's.

I will be doing the pre cruise this wednesday, and timing the trip so that i can advise on intinery.

As stated, will be a good update the afternoon/night before.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
