Vl Turbo Stuff For Sale, Motor - Turbo - Manifolds Etc

Hey all - a very good friend of mine has stripped his baby and called it a day.

quite a few parts are available - he has informed me that none of these prices are negotiable and dont even bother calling if your not truely genuine about a purchase. In Melb of course.

* Oil Pressure Sender from Block $50

* Knock Sensor $50

* Fuel Reg for VL Turbo $50 flat

* Custom Made MDF Parcel Shelf, Carpeted, with pioneer 6 X 9 's $100 very pro looking

* 3 piece rear strip set, black strips that go across the bootlid and the sides $40

* Front 2 piece weather strips that go over windshield borders with clips $20

* 2 rear qaurter windows, 50 for both

* 3 Working order Air Flow Meters $50 each

* Alternator off vlt $40

*VL Turbo GENUINE Bottom End COMPLETE with Head, no manifolds, however does have the complete front still on with timing belt and cover. all it needs is the manifolds. ALSO!!! have VIDEO proof of this motor running perfectly he says before it was stripped as well as LOG book proof of services up to 94. VERY LOW KAY MOTOR as you can see from the speedo console selling above as well. 1 lifter might need to be adjusted however, but is perfect and also comes with rocker cover too $800 flat

* VL Bootlid, needs a nice new coat of paint $40

* 4 VL exec doors with strips, and greenish berlina doortrims with windows complete need a fresh coat of paint no dints $ 100

* Front quarters, the pair $100 dollars, also need a fresh coat, no dings

* VL berlina / exec nosecone, no dints, need a nice coat however $40

* 2 VL Headlights, good condition $60 for both

* Radiator off VLT, freshly recoed running and looking fantastic $ 80 dollars flat

*Pollution Gear - Charcoal Cannister with lines $50 flat

*VL Turbo Crossover pipe - COMPLETE with the metal rods that run the pollution gear as well as a FXXXken HUGE type 3 blow off valve already attached and ready to go $120 flat

*Water Reserve Bottle, no cracks - minkia! $20 dollars

*Air Con Condensor donger that hangs off the block - nothing else $40 dollars

* SV style Grille for front, looks like one big slit in the middle like a letterbox $40 dollars flat. SOLD

* Intercooler- equivalent of a AVO stage 1 with no piping, $150 flat

* VL Turbo Fuel Pump $80

* VL TURBO DIZZY AND CAS $ 50

      And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil

      Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
