Hey Guys,

I have an R34 25GT-Four Automatic and I wanted to convert it to R33 GTR or R34 GTR Manual Transmission and RB26 Engine. Is this possible or too costly? My apprehension is that will not fit because of the differentials.

would be an alternative solution, the original five-speed transmission from the GT-Four? how much torque keeps it from?

With best regards

Kevin

Urgh.

The answer for most of these types of questions is that it's almost always cheaper to just buy a GTR.

That's pretty serious conversion work when you factor in your going to have to upgrade hubs, brakes, suspension to make it somewhat safe.

If your dead set on converting it, then get a drivetrain from a series 2 C34 stagea, or preferable a whole wreck. That will get you a RB25det neo, 5spd manual, the diffs, 5stud hubs etc.

I know that it is almost as expensive as a GTR, but I can control the cost and say now is good enough for me and I can closing the converison.

as an alternative I thought of the Manual 5-speed transmission from the GT-Four

Does anyone have experience with the 5-speed transmission from the GT-Four? How much maximum power / torque it can

Would you be doing all the work yourself? Then maybe, just.

Otherwise, not worth it. I got my 34 auto converted to manual, it runs great but chasing the parts and even a workshop who was willing to do the conversion was a major headache. Expensive, too. Save up, sell yours, and then buy what you actually want ;)

The ENR34 GT Four manual has the same gearbox as R32/33 GTR models, which is the same as C34 AWD stageas. So it will take the same power as GTR owners are making. Someone with more experience will have to chime in, but they generally take anything up to high 300s low 400kws reliably.

I dunno about the diffs, I think the GT-four has shorter ratios....?
