Hi. I cant use photoshop or illustrator for peanuts... so i thought my lil jokes would end. But then i saw this discussion board, and saw how good some of you guys are!!! so im hoping somoene can do something for me

With this accent, i need someone to put on white squares. so the end effect is red and white checkers (since the car is red). if its possible can someone give it a go. Also, you can modify the wheels if you want, and the background. the main thing im concerned about is the paint work! hahaha. thanks guys.

Click here for pic of car (warning 444kb)

edit - size of squares - to your discretion. both colours should be equal running all over the car... it should have this effect...

as you can tell, im no artist, but i felt sorry for you because nobody replied.... i figured if i made a really bad attempt at it, that someone would come along to show me how crap my skills are, and as a result you will end up with the picture that you want!

:D

thats the worst looking car ive ever seen in my life, man why would anyone want a car that looks like that, or even a sheild that has checkers

well..... according to your profile, you don't even have a car.... so come back when you do, and we'll hang shit on your car. :D

I imagine that the excel is very economical to run.

well maybe i dont have a car, but according to your profile you dont have a life or a brain, so i dont know how you learned to use your mouth, maybe you should keep it closed so you dont sound like and idiot, no offence.

sky031 nice attempt also better than i could probably do so........

now thats what u call pride of country doing a whole car in your colours

come one guys surely theres more than one person able to do it

again no artist, but the checkers need to follow the contours better. flood fill just looks off. i thought he would want liek a checkered flag, like some race cars, not the whole thing done. eew.

would of been good like that.. but... this did the effect ! :D

if u got the time - go for it ! hahaha.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
