Yes as the title said, come clean with the amount of time u been suspended reason? and duration.

I'll go first

suspended 2 time once when i was 18, 1 day before i got my open i decide to go for a run cause i had 4 points to burn, came back with a speeding fine and a undue noise.

second time, was just plain old accumulations of traffic fines mainly in victoria.

Damn mexicans.

Funny thing is that when i'm just cruising around, I get booked and when i'm seriouly into the gas, never been book apart from the incident above.

Also i got off a few time by going to court.

14 points so far. 2 suspensions x 3 months. And fighting a 12 month+ suspension in court as I'm typing this.

6 Points - High way racing.

2 Points - jumping gutters in a 4wd.

2 Points - burn out.

2 Points - Drifting

2 Points - un-due smoke/noise.

6 points - speeding -qld

4 points - speeding -qld

1 point - speeding -qld

came close after those 3 fines

6 points - speeding -qld

3 points - burnout -nsw

1 point - speeding -nsw

1 point - speeding -qld

and very close again

somehow, i've managed to spread those fines out nicely and have never been suspended ;) looking at that tells me i used to be a fast driver. got 6 back 9 months ago so i 7 points now.

damn shameful list of fines really!

-rb25

3 points - speeding

3 points - speeding

opted for 1 year 'good boy's license'

6 points - speeding

6 months into 1 year prob.

6months suspension

3 points - burnout; the day I got P's back

1 avail point for 9 months, to Opens

since then:

4 points for burnouts

7 points for speeding.

You'd think I'd have learnt to stop speeding since then...no go, now I just spend more time looking on the the sides of the road than at the road itself -> just wat the road authorities wanted I'm sure ;)

I lost 12 points on my P's (4 point license), but got it back after going to court so never really got a suspension. Managed to lose 12 cause I lost 6 (2 x 3 points) and got a court date, then lost 6 more (2 x 3 pointers as well) in the meantime.. doh

Lost another 6 so far (2 x 3 pointers, argh ffs!) but hey, 6 is plenty.

Funny how it is, once upon a time, when a cops turn on his light or walk out from behind the bushes, i get this sick in the gut feeling, but now i just , the feeling is just ohwell some random tax payments,

The impact of a traffic cops no longer bother me, i just do what ever i want and front court if i get caught and get my license back.

There's a VERY GOOD solicitor in town who used to be a public prosector for the police force and he represent me every time and draws mainly on technicality for defense as he say, the law is breach, that is why you're in court, but is the law justly upheld is the arguments

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?

    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
