R33 Auto Gear Box Shift Solenoids

Hi All

Need help with a R33 Auto Skyline.

My newfew replaced the fuild in his gear box a few weeks ago but since then everytime is goes in drive or reverse it stalls. check all vaccum lines, TPS, conections outside etc no luck. I spoke to a transmission bloke and he said sound like the solenoids are gone. Anyone had the same issue? and if so has anyone ever replaced shift soliniods in a R33 Auto Skyline? ,how much did it cost for the soleniods? and where do I get them.

Just check - did he put all of 10L or so in it? Lines all reconnected properly? Level correct? Does it go through all the gears ok? kick down ok? May not be the auto - maybe new plugs?! If it is solenoids (hard to imagine they go all at once) MV automatics do this kind of work otherwise I guess any transmission shop - don't know if its a DIY proposition.
