Hi guys, need advice, I can get a series 2 rb25det apexi power fc at a reasonable price, I have already converted my rb26 dett to a single turbo setup, when I look at the pinouts of the rb25det and rb26dett, they are fairly similar,my issue is the rb26 uses pin 106 for fuel pump control module and pin 6 for electrical fan switch; rb26 has two fuel pump control modules whereas rb25 had one.how do I go about this any further? Rb25 doesn't use electrical fan relay switch.

What do you call a reasonable price for the apexi fc. You can pick up fc's for600 ish fairly often on ebay for rb26/gtr's And let someone with a s2 33 buy the other fc.

Sa as in South Australia? No import tax on australian ebay matey. Im talking 2nd hand gtr/rb26 ecu, s in Australia. Postage should be 30 bucks max aussie wide with insurance.how much is this fc gor the the 25? Can pm if you dont want to make it publc?

Well still theydont weigh a lot so postage shojldnt be to bad. My opimion and suggesrion is forget the r33 rb25 pfc and buuy the one flr the gtr rb26. Be much easier in the long run trust me.

will work fine, just run 1x o2 and 1x AFM and you'll be fine. Just depin the intake air temp sensor on pin 36 as the RB25DET S2 pin goes to a idle switch or so which the S1 and RB26 doesn't use

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
