removing stock speakers

Hi,

I going to replace the stock speakers in my 32 in the rear parcel shelf but cant see how to get them out... Does the whole shelf have to come out ???

gotta take the back seat out first mate, and then the whole parcel shelf

1. two nuts near the floor on the lower cushion need to be undone

2. there are two D shaped pins holding it at the front of the seat, they should release fairly easily if not the lever the seat gently upwards with the reverse end of a shifter

3. next remove the two nuts on the upright cushion and then slide the cushion upwards till it releases

4. you should be able to get at the parcel tray now

Took mine out on Saturday arvo without removing the back seat, but you gotta be carefull. If you pull the top of the back seat towards you and lift the parcelshelf cover at the same time it will just pop out.

When putting it back there are clips on the edge facing the rear window, make sure they are all facing the right way (towards the boot) before replacing otherwise it wont seat back well.

just wondering how easy the front speakers in R33 are to take out and instal new splits? if anyone can help with descriptions or diagrams it would be g8...

front speakers are pretty easy to take out just look for all the screws and undo them then the trim is just clipped in...
