I have to go to the pool at least 3 times a week for the back. I normally do excersize and stretches in the hot hydro pool then go to the 25m pool for walking and swimming laps. I've got dodgy knees too and if I walk too much in the pool they ache real bad but it's only Austio arthritis. I was in and out of physiotherapy for years and just pissed it all off did a load of research and found a balance that works good for me. What is the main problem with the knees?

A few of my mates I played footy with had Osgood/slaters and it finished them. After over 200 games of footy I wish I'd never played but I loved it alot. Football is my family's religion! But I've lost interest over the last few years. Not as hardcore as t-revs with his West coast Eagles engine bay!
Yeah not bad. How was the drive home car still good and did ya hav3le a grin going home thinking I got a 12 sec car

Hey Dean I found a awesomeness little R35 on Gumtree for the boy. Would post the link if I knew how. Have you got any of the r/c's up and running?

DSC_0348.JPGDSC_0347.JPGthe earlier time was the faster. Dropped it to 30 psi all round today. Do you think the duramax 75-90 is the right oil for the diff? It was juddering bad when I changed it then came good with the l.s.d. Paste and figure of 8's? The tein basics have only height adjustment and the ride is hard as since I lifted I't?

Track temp definatly didnt help, colder it gets the less sticky it becomes and less traction u get. Same principle when its too hot.

Diff oil sounds about right, was the old oil burnt? Id day that the shock from spinning the tyres to it gripping proberly caused it to tighten up through heat. New oil and a some maneuvering always helps.

Ur shocks are gonna have more travel due to increased hight, more fluid to move bk and forth within its stroke which will make it feel harder

Hmm makes sense, that's what I was thinking too much extension and not enough compression in the shocks which would coincide with the longer travel and higher spring rate. When you gradually build up the boost and launch it sweet on the street is the only time you notice it. The old diff oil was clean as. I was also thinking due to getting cold between runs that it was at its minimum viscosity but the thinner the oil it should make its way into clutch packs better?

I watched footy in high school and early twenties. Now I despise it. I'd rather watch netball or lawn bowls

    • Working through possible solutions of converting my mechanical speedo.    Anyone know what type of speedo sensor the factory r34 gtr getrag has ? what the output is ? I assume its not a VSS and more a voltage like earlier speedo sensors ? Can an ECU read it ?

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
