Peanut92
Quick update for you guys Been flat out at work and I'm also in the midst of organising the remaining parts for the tune and also the tune itself Been chasing up tuners etc trying to get everything falling into place car may be tuned on e85 aswell! Trying to sus out a dual map Quick question for you guys The paint scheme for the car was flat orange with a black bonnet and boot As well as flat black wheels with an orange lip Due to very much foreseen circumstances it's going to be a while before this goes ahead Had the idea of rattle canning it flat black and orange wheels instead till the real paint comes... Please bare in mind it couldn't look any worse then the car already does This showed up today as well there was a second box same person sent on the same day at the same time but it didn't arrive. A little worried. It was containing the rear lower control arms. It will be getting all the suspension components installed and drift alignment very shortly. Any suggestions? Was thinking 3.5 in the front Max caster 4 mm total toe 0.5 in the rear 0 toe Is there a certain setting for the traction rods? And I figure I may aswell update you Current mods NI indicates it's yet to be installed INTERIOR Mods Bride seat fitted to drivers side Nrg short hub and quick release Nardi deep corn wheel Dildo shifter Drift button Replaced Shifter boot Handbrake boot Sunroof assembly Yet to do Replace passengers and middle vents Replace heater assembly Order and install bride zeta iii seats drivers and passenger side Replace door trims Replace carpet ENGINE Mods Splitfire dis001s NA Z32 afm + tomei plug NA Apexi pod NA NISTUNE Ecu NA OP6 turbo NA (may buy a different turbo) Replaced Temp sender ECT sensor NA 02 sensor NA Coilpack harness NA On order Hdi front mount Walbro 400l pump (e85 compatible) Deastchwerks 900cc injectors (e85 compatible) Possibly a different turbo Metal intake pipe HANDLING Mods Silvers neomax coilovers all around 10kg front 8kg rear Adjustable front upper camber arms NA Adjustable caster arms NA (currently stock new bushes) Adjustable front lower control arms NA (currently running r33 Lcas) Rear adjustable upper camber arms NA Rear adjustable traction rods NA Rear adjustable Lower control arms NA Hicas eliminator kit Front strut brace Replaced Front wheel studs Caster rod bushes BRAKING SWEET f**k ALL BRAKES ARE SHIT AT THE MOMENT! Peanut92
Some "semi" good news The skyline is no longer my daily. I sold my rx7 weekender and bought a more suitable daily This is bad because I'll miss driving it everyday.... But does mean no defects for me during work days and I can also save some cash which I can pump straight into the skyline And also run dedicated e85 and a slightly bigger turbo as street drivability isn't really priority anymore Here's the old girl being tucked away for a while Cars probably getting painted on the weekend hopefully as long as everything goes to plan Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/456682-the-tales-of-the-nightmare-32-resurrection/page/3/#findComment-7564041 Share on other sites
Peanut92
Haven't been able to do much due to money issues and a few set backs Was suppose to be painted last weekend but yeah Hopefully things will pick up Finally picked up my guards off Ianmack thanks heaps again dude they look awesome can't wait to get them on He also helped me out with a fuel tank as my old one still leaks A couple of things arrived in the mail Gizzmo msibc is one And I took a trip to rocket finally to get some gauges Also after having only drive the lancer for 2 weeks I loved getting back in the 32. Peanut92
Hey sau Been FLAT out at work and things lately and having the lancer as a daily I got a tiny bit lazy with the skyline and I even lacked motivation last weekend but a quick drive and a little sideways action put me back on fire and I actually took it out for a drive with the dash all back together and now the cabins exactly how I wanted it I also have a new fuel tank (to fix the leaky one) and my walbro 460l showed up ready for the e85 [emoji108] I also finally got my drift crew stickers cut up So let's take a look at the before and afters of my dash Yes the old drift boost gauge is available for anyone Before After Note gizzmo wasn't put in. But all the wires there just gotta choose where I want it Ultra bright white smd lets through out Autometer guages installed Boost water temp and oil pressure Here's a couple of shots of the progress and wiring etc Just to fill up the post I guess as I said things have been slack yes the bottom 2 stickers arnt straight I'll fix that one day First folder got full of receipts so we're onto the second folder came into play Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/456682-the-tales-of-the-nightmare-32-resurrection/page/3/#findComment-7591607 Share on other sites
