kingtube69
Hi All, I'm looking at getting a tune done on my car and also a new clutch to cope with the power. I will be getting JEM to do the work but wanted to know does the clutch have to be done and broken in then on a separate occasion the tune done or can the clutch and tune be done at the same time? I'm thinking that the clutch won't be abused getting a tune so it would be OK to get the tune at the same time. Thanks in advance. sonicz
I dunno maybe you can take it for a quick 15 min drive to bed the new clutch in at least a little bit before going straight on the dyno for a tune, but I would guess a dyno is not hard on a clutch at all, maybe its the perfect spot to break in a new cluttch lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/459843-clutch-change-then-tune/#findComment-7608395 Share on other sites
Hadouken
If it's a good work shop then they will know what to do and I'm sure this is not their first time.
