Cleaning Rb25 Motor Any Tips?

Hey guys so just doing a bit of research on engine cleaning and was curious to know how people have got there dull looking engine looking clean again..

I'm not talking a degrease and wash I'm talking all parts such as block, alternator, plenum etc etc pretty much everything that has that silver alloy kinda look from factory and bringing it back to nearly factory finish and what methods and chemicals etc did you use to achieve good results

Guys have had great luck with hydrablasting/hydroblasting forgot which one it is but anyway, on those raw alloy parts they have had them turn up like new

Yeah, another name for what Jordy is describing is vapour blasting; it's a high pressure water blast with an abrasive media. Ideal for that "brand new alloy" look.

Gives a closed surface, unlike traditional sand/grit blasting which leaves an open surface which absorbs oils and grease.
