Yea i understand that i dont have the fuel system for anything more then 18 psi.

what? lol

I run 875cc Siemens Deka IV and it is only hitting like 89% duty cycle at 24psi

I prefer to tune with loads of boost but very lazy timing rather than loads of timing but not so much boost.

Because you're on E85, EGTS are shit low

Guess i just have to wait to see what the cyle is when there on the dyno.

I thought the whole idea was for heap of timing with e85 isnt timming safer then boost.

Id like to think with like 23 psi it would go over 400 but studs would be realy helpful for that

What power are you making with them only at 89 %

I don't know how much I'm making but last time I put it on a mainline 2WD dyno it made 340kW but only with 22psi but that was with stock stocks a little more timing. I'll shaved off the timing and added more boost for the track, against what everyone would think lol.

However I've got ARP studs and I've over torqued them to 108nm (non 2000 studs)

Out of interest, what do you reckon a 20G will make on e85 on a 25?

310 to 320rwkws should be a breeze with the 10cm housing. I made 310 on an RB20 with an 8cm housing

If its a street car put an 8cm housing on it and with E85 if there is a tad too much back pressure it wont matter. on 98 the backpressure woudl hold it back and make it puing with boost and exhaust but with E85... I know the 8cm housing on the 20G on my RB25 was EPIC.

I have a L2 20G 10cm. I was hopeful of around 330-340 with the cams Ive put in, camtech 264/268 9mm's. Cant seem to find a lot about the l2 20g on a 25 for some reason, mostly the 25g/t67.

I making 340 on mailine roller on 98

Ive been in a r34 with a t67 25g 10cm, and less engine work done (Injectors/FMIC/Power FC/Z32/Nismo Pump/Exhaust and turbo kit) and it was pretty damn good on the road, made 300ish on 98, so I can only imagine how good yours'll be with the extra gear on e85.

Yea looking foward to it its bye no means slow just needs more mid more then happy to make no more peak on e85.

It will be on dyno to sort out splutter jolting issue as soon as goes into positive pressure/boost.

New cas new afm new coils and new loom didnt fix hopeing its a easy fix fingers crossed

Hey mate, just looking at this. In your first post with the dyno sheet, the AFR's get REALLY rich as your starting to make power it looks like 11.4:1 ish but for some reason, being not enough time invested by the tuner or unstable fuel pressure the AFR's are all over the shop.

If the tuner can get a stable 12:1 AFR's while under full load that will also help with the miss and help in ramping up your mid range( it's not going to be a crazy gain but power delivery will be a lot more smoother and keep the heat higher in your exhaust to allow for greater thermal expansion and inturn turn the turbo faster)

Just a few things that seem to jump out at me.

Good luck with E85, you won't look back.

Going rich as you reach peak torque and at peak torque will prevent knock, especially on 98RON. I assume that was done on purpose.

On E85, that doesn't matter so much...

I personally tune my car and my mates car using the same technique.. as it approaches max torque and is at max torque AFRs are in the 11.5 region and as torque dies down it leans up to nearly 12

    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
