For anyone going to a local circuit to knock out some laps, may as well accurately measure the improvement in car's performance and your driving ability by accurately recording lap times.

This particular timer is cheaper ($150-200) then those commonly sold at Revolution Racegear / Speedwerx etc etc. I have another product by AiM and am very happy with it, so whilst this unit is cheaper then other models on the market, i wouldnt be concerned about receiving a cheap, nasty and unreliable unit.

Please read attached .pdf file for all the features.

Price - $400 + delivery

Please, only post GENUINE interest here, the higher the numbers the better chance of a subsequent drop in price.

Hey Roy roy, What does the module communicate with? Is there a little device for the side of the track and if so is it included in that price?

good question, would like to know this aswell!!!

I just had a look at their website and thay have

Lap TimerKit Includes:Large DisplayInternal PowerInfrared TransmitterInfrared Receiver So the transmitter will be what is mounted at trackside to send the signal to the receiver which is attached to the timer in the car. Adz will recall the units at trackside at PI in the pits. Just IR transmitters.

these are a top investment if you are serious about improving your lap times...how do you *know* if you went faster unless you can check a timer, often something may feel faster but isnt.

And this is a great price, I paid almost $600 for mine :)

so you get the tranmiiter for trackside and the unit.

this $400 is for the external power or internal?

how much extra is the usb cable and software???

might get 2 if this goes through!

$150-200 cheaper then others on the market. The $400 pric is for internal power supply (do you really want to be wiring up to a 12V feed in the car?).

Anyway it appears interest is low so wont be able to buy in the quantities to get a reduced price...UAS (Boosetd Zed) can get his hands on these cheaper with trade prices and appears is willing to pass on some on the savings to us:)

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
