Up for sale is my 1989 black r32 GTR,

I'm putting it on here for sale hoping to find someone that will appreciate it and that it will go to a good home. It has done a genuine 123 xxxkms. It is currently in the process of a engine rebuild in the chase of more power, but sadly I no longer can finish it off,and do not wish to part it out because it's to good of a car to do it too, the car is a roller with , it just needs the motor assembled,a ECU of your choice, intercooler and piping and dump pipe to the exhaust, bigger fuel lines put through the car, and coil pack setup.

The car

.Good condition for its age

.g2 coilovers all round (unsure of brand)

.tinted windows

.N1 rear boot lip insert

.Custom number plates,

.16x7 3 peice cheviot wheels( two are scratched)

.rear drilled brake discs

. Interior is in good condition , all original except for a boost gauge, no radio and gtst front seats

The motor

26/30 ,car has been run with the 26/30 so no mods need to be carried out to fit the motor in the GTR

.r31 rb30 skyline block

.Bored 20thou with nitto pistons 10.5.1 comp

.rb26 bore oil squirters put into the rb30 block

.rb26 crank windage trays

.high octane sump with tomie baffle trays also with sump to head breather

. High octane oil seperator tank above the cam overs, cam covers have mines baffles kit,

.1.5 block oil restrictors

.precions h beam rods

.arp studs for the rods, head and crank,

.direct clutch services twin plate clutch

.ati 1000hp Balancer

. Crank and cam trigger kit

. Nitto head gasket

. Nitto billet oil pump

. Craig Davies electric water pump

.1mm over size inlet and exhaust valves

.hypertune 100mm throttle body and manifold

.280 10.5 lift cam tech camshafts

.tomie adjustable cam gears

. The rb26 head needs to be ported if you wish but has been milled to fit the cams

. Precision 6766 turbo 1.00 rear housing, ball bearing on a 6 boost manifold that is t4 split pulse manifold and is ceramic coated with twin 44mm turbosmart wastegates

. Fuel set up is a 1000hp job with 1 walbro e85 in tank pump to 3 main pumps with 6 1650cc Injectors and a areoflow fuel rail , I got the fuel setup done with in mind for a bigger turbo choice down the track if it ever happened so that I didn't have to upgrade again, unsure of brand of pumps and surge tank as its been so long since I've seen all the parts in there boxes. But can supply pics and who did it tomorrow.

Also there is a nismo 2way rear diff to go in the car a set of 4 near new track slicks to go on the 16x7 rims

.3.5 inch stainless xforce exhaust with stainless catpost-134876-14542379432722_thumb.jpgpost-134876-14542380090681_thumb.jpg

There's so much more to list to this car that I can think of at moment, but everything that I have for it goes with the car

The GTR is registed and in Tasmania, Hobart more than happy to ship the car and send more pics to serious buyers

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
