Just bought my first Skyline v35 Coupe, but not happy?

Hey everyone

Firstly, if just like to thank in advance all you learned legends who so freely give your time, effort and expertise to help and give much appreciated advice to newbs like me who know nothing:)

I just bought a 2003 Skyline v35 Coupe in the rare 6sp manual and for the first few days it was driving beautifully but now it is blowing out some serious white/grey smoke:( 

guess my next port of call will be to do some research to see what it could be and how much it'll cost.

Can you get a photo of the smoke?  

Take the oil cap off and see if there is white residue under it.  Likewize, take the radiator cap off and see if there is an oil sheen in the radiator.

It's sounds headgaskety to me.  Actually it sounds very much like a blown turbo seal, but seeing as you don't have a turbo....

Hi, it could be a few things, if the smoke has a blue tint to it, it could be a blown turbo. cowboy is also correct check as he said if the caps are clear. Most likely ur rings on ur pistons are worn.

What's the km on the car? Did you do any kind of inspection - e.g. compression test ? Time to do one now!

No turbo on the Z AFAIK
