electric arial

my arial is finally dieing the staffs bent and i think the lil plastic winder inside has snapped ( happened to my "lux" so i know the signs) nissan bloke tells me doesnt match any local staff replacements (an huge issue to order jap part) stereo bloke sez he cant get one either winder unit seems to be running ok jus need new staff any ideas? please help stupid thing only works half time an car cover dont fit with arial half extended

Yeah I'm in the same club. Mine aerial goes all the way down only when it feels like it (1 in 10 times prolly). There has to be a solution, besides the factory one is way too long anyway - stands out like dogs balls.

is be happy with the std way in the air if it would jus work all tha time stoopid temperamentle (failed english) jap cars ( but i love her sooooo much)

hey guys if its only the mast that needs replacing then yes you can buy it seperate and there locally available, if memory serves correctly there the same as the patrol, but i can find out forsure tomorrow at work,

I cut the wires to mine so it never comes up anyway, and with no loss to radio reception:D

if it s just the platic winding tail and shaft your lookint $80 from nissan if your need a need motor for it aswell add $300-350.

mine died just before the york cruise and the parts dude at northside (i think thats what there called. the nissan place near the wanneroo markets) gave me prices.

Thanks mate, that is good to know. Won't b long til some young gozzy loser will kindly snap it off for me when i park it at the shops somewhere.

heheheheh yeah theres a few nissan dealers that dont wanna know about imports....

there not interested and think its too hard ....( plus they dont have to do imports if they dont wanna) me on the other hand love sourcing gen parts for imports ( love the challange )
