HKS cam gears need tuning?

Just a quick question

Im waiting for some hks cam gears to arrive before my car goes into the workshop to get new turbos/exhaust fitted and off to the dyno to get tuned.

can I just fit the cam gears after tuning or is it best to wait to tune them on the dyno?

If they dont really need a dyno what are the best settings for more top end power, or low down... my car has standard cams. or does it vary from car to car?

The best way is to get them installed before dyno tune, so then your tuner can adjust cam gears while tuning the new setup.....

Settings, id say exhaust: 4deg retard, and intake: 2deg advance. good idea to check it with a timing light when done. probably take it easy driving around with this setup on an untuned ecu too.
