CK21
Hey, Wanting to know if anyone could post a pic or confirm how the shifter should sit in the hole in the tunnel. I have an RB25DET Neo from a Stagea with a cut down 4wd sump mounted with brackets and mounts that came with engine. Its in an R32 sedan that was factory auto, with R33 RB25DET gearbox using an “A” stamp gearbox mount. The engine and gearbox mounts line up with the factory positions perfectly but the shifter sits forward of the centre of the hole and looks too high. (Will get a pic asap) Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/475155-rb25det-gearbox-into-r32-shifter-position/ Share on other sites

CK21
Even height wise it’s normal? The bottom boot (flat one) doesn’t fit. GTSBoy
The R32 tunnel was not intended to swallow the 25DET gearbox. I struggled, and got it to go together. If you're desperate, make a 10-15mm thick spacer out of ABS plastic or similar, to fit between the boot and the tunnel. CK21
Cheers for the help, was worried I had mounted it wrong or had the wrong mounts. Will modify it to get it on.
