skyline r32 gtst driving issue

Ok so I've been doing some research and I have a few ideas but I figure id ask around so I don't just throw parts at the damn thing. 

So the issue, wile driving the car it randomly bogs down, and even if you press the gas peddle to the floor the rpms will not go up until what ever is happening stops then it will start to accelerate again. I swapped plugs and I'm pretty sure the coil packs are fine due to the fact that the car will drive fine for a few but it sporadically will do this. I've cleaned the air flow meter. If I shut the car off when this issue is happening and restart the car the rpms fluctuate up and down. I know there are a few basic checks I haven't done yet like fuel pressure or testing the TPS but the car is not stalling at all when coming to a stop or pushing the clutch in. anyone have any ides?
