R33 RB25DE Gear box replace a Gear box in a R34 DE

I am looking for a Gearbox for My R34 25GT I have found a good gear box from a R33 RB25DE  are they swap over compatible. could it be used?

Thanks I am very new to all things R34. an know nothing about the others. 

I have a R34 coupe 25gt. non turbo. Yes Its an Auto. I want to convert it and I know many have done that Nothing new Right? 

There are a few R33 Non turbo boxes around. I was wondering will one of them work. As at the moment cannot find a R34 box non Turbo. 

I have been looking on the forum for similar post cant find any thing as yet. point me to a post topic. Thank you for the reply

I repeat. Is your current box TIPTRONIC? As in, does it have shift buttons on the steering wheel? If so, forget about using an R33 box, as they will not be the same box. Will not swap.

Yes It is TIPTRONIC . is the bell housing bolt pattern different on the block ? my My engine is an RB25de. just to clarify I am talking about Automatic to a Manual 5 speed. conversion. Thank you for you help.

In that case it will fit. There are at least 3 tutorials on this site - best way to find them is to Google  although I know there is one in the Stagea Section which also has a useful shopping list of things you will need (much the same as for your car) and one in the general DIY section .
