hey guys, just got my r31 GTS-X complied and registered, it has a bored and stroked rb20 and atm standard ecu, manifolds and turbo. (it came with a hks fcon, custom plenum, gtr injectors, trust manifold and gate etc etc).

i was going to drive the car awhile with all the standard gear, but i was abit worried whether it'll lean out, then had a think about it and im thinking the motor will suck more air for the increased capacity therefor wont the afm adjust the mixtures to suit anyway?

car drives awsomely, loads of low down torque and with the tiny standard turbo, boost just snaps on instantly. only thing that is giving me trouble is the AFM, really intermitant fault, seems to die every now and then and subsequently the ecu tries to shut off the motor (only reason i think its the afm is that the ecu diagnostic tells me code 12). sound right for an AFM fault?

ok its going to be dynoed tomorrow, just an afterthought though, what do ya recon of plugging in a set of gtr injectors and running it with the standard ecu/tune? should make it run richer if its got leaning out problems, atleast until i get the cash together next pay to retune the ecu...
