Also - what is the back seat leg room and head room like in

a) the sedan

B) the coupe.

(Is it as good or better than say a corolla?)

Thanks

PS Test drove a silvia and there was no room in the back.

Just wondering what an 89 or 90 model is worth these days, in reasonable nick and stock.  Is it close to 10k?  Or  a little more..

Is the sedan worth slightly less than the coupe?

Prices seem highly variable.  Just looking into getting one at the moment.

Thanks

Autos are much more common in the sedans, so if you are desperate, get an auto and add the $1500ish for a conversion. Watching recent prices, 89 or so seem to go for about $2-3k more for manual. The sedans currently seem to go for $1-2k less than the equivelent coupe (not as much demand), depending on where you get it.

You can just get one for around $10k for 89 fairly stock, but most dealers seem to charge a few $k over that. You're best bet is to import, while its still an option (if you can wait). Otherwise, you're battling the profit takers trying to get a few $ more than they bought it "just because they can".

Headroom in the back would probably be a concern in an r32. Going on my r33, 6ft people wouldn't fit comfortably in the backseat due to the head clearance for long periods. Doubt r32 is any better, if not worse considering they cars have less room overall. You could fit 2 people in the back seat though, but again, not much leg room.

Thanks Predator. Should be enough leg room right? I know wouldn't be heaps - but would it be like the silvias where you have to spread your legs if your over about 5ft 8. You could go to the snow or something with it but have breaks every couple of hours?

I'm getting prety keen now!

THanks

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
