lwells
Is it just me, or is the search system in vB a little screwed. How do I go about searching for threads or posts that only include A and B, not just A or B? Once upon a time using the expression "a AND b" (minus the quotation marks) would have worked, but currently vB seems to just see those as seperate keywords, as if I had searched for "a b". To give you some context, lets say I want to search for threads or posts that only contain "HKS" and "exhaust". If I put in "hks AND exhaust" as the query, it gives me any thread or post that contains either HKS or exhaust (or both), but not just threads/posts that contain HKS and exhaust. Anyone able to help...? LW. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55328-search-queries/ Share on other sites

PranK
"HKS" + "Exhaust" ?? I dunno, I dont use the search very often, It has been recent;y converted to a full text search, maybe that has caused some problems. lwells
Hi Christian, I tried the '+' operator just before I bumped the thread, and that doesn't do the trick either: they are still treated as seperate keywords (ie. as if it was an 'OR' situation)...? Weird. Makes search practically useless IMHO LW. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55328-search-queries/#findComment-1088261 Share on other sites
