B0oStEr
What width and offset are the stock GTT wheels? Tyre size? Would they fit an R32 sedan? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/ Share on other sites
ed
Not sure of the offset but the width is 7" And it should fit the 32 no problem Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/#findComment-1079597 Share on other sites
B0oStEr
I've tried to measure the offset of my stock R32 rims. It's a bit hard to be sure on the car but they seem to have 40mm offset. If my 6.5" R32 rims are 40mm offset and Gtt rims are 7" would 35mm be near the ideal offset? Does anyone know what the actual Gtt offset is? NJR 34GTT
They are 7.5 wide not 7. Stock tyre size is 225/45/17. Offset is roughly 35 front, 38 rear. - May want to double check that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/#findComment-1079848 Share on other sites
JULZZ
the rear would fit, but the front might need a 3mm spacer....... (if yours is a TypeM), otherwise it wud be just straight fit (non-type M) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/#findComment-1080025 Share on other sites

The offset seems to be 39 or 40mm. It's a bit hard to measure to the mm with the tyres on. From outside to outside the rims are 22mm wider than my 6.5" R32 rims so yeah, they are probably 7.5". Anyway they look like a 100% legal upgrade for the R32 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/#findComment-1080039 Share on other sites
NJR 34GTT
Yes i was wrong about the offset. That was the offsets for 18x8 and 18x9 to fit my car. Nfi why i remembered at the time that they were stock offsets. But yes they are most definitely 7.5 wide. Tyre placards etc state it. Fro-Daddy
uhh, the spacers are illegal, so if your ever in a crash or anything, take them off quick smart or they may void your insurance! B0oStEr
Has anyone here put GTT wheels on a R32 gtst before? Did they go straight on? B0oStEr
I tried fitting them today. Julzz was right, the fronts don't quite clear the TypeM caliper. A 3mm spacer would fix it but aren't these illegal? They only just touch as you fully tighten the wheel nuts. Actually there would be plenty of thickness in the caliper to shave about 2mm off the edge that touches the wheel. Is this too bodge? WET-25T
I just put them on my r33 and they just touched the front calliper. I used a 3mm spacer to solve the problem. Looks good. Does that mean i have a type m r33 series 2? adam-__-
Most (if not all) turbo R33's brought into the country would be type-m models. If I remember correctly, the standard offsets on all series (32, 33, 34 excluding GTR models) wheels were +40. Is this too bodge? majority of people shave off the Nissan wording on the caliper, this usually gives enough clearance for the rims. id prefer to do that instead of spacers, as spacers are illegal. Mine didnt touch the nissan logo, it was far from it. It was hitting the whole edge of the caliper when the tyre was rotated. bubba
I have 34gtt rims on my 32gtst, they are 7.5" wide. I'm running 225s on the front and 245s on the back. Initially had to run a 3mm spacer on the front as the rims bound up on the brakes, when I changed to 33gtst brakes this problem went away and I didn't need the 3mm spacer (there is barely 1mm of clearance though). buggor34
So will it affect anything running the spacers on the front? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55342-r34-gtt-stock-wheel-size-fit-r32/#findComment-3943042 Share on other sites
siddr20
I have fitted r34 gtt rims onto a r33 gtst with no problems at all.. No need for spacers etc However it might be ideal putting 3mm spacers on. offsets are 38 (so i have read on these forums in the past threads) I dont see why it wont fit a r32. They got smaller brakes right? compared to 33s? if so then will fit perfect I have seen pics of 32s with 34 gtt rims bubba- WOW you got 245s on a 7.5inch width rim?? how? lol thought 235s would be the most.. Yup same here. however, its like a mm off from touching. Rims still rotate freely!!
