4R33L: Added. (Would you mind editing you post to remove the huge quote -- it will just cause confusion).

tbeffect: Added. Trust me, as a poor uni student I know every dollar counts so I will do my best. However it will likely come down to just how many people end up paying (I'm hope everyone, but I am also realistic)

Lucien.

I'm interested as well, although I'd probably like to find out more info about them with regards to potential performance gains as I'm still a relative newbie when it comes to Skylines.

I recently bnought a R33 GTS-25T S2 with a Mines ECU, but apparantly these are non-programable...can anyone confirm this? Otherwise I've only got mimimal performance mods (i.e exhaust from dump pipe back) and I'm in the process of looking into getting a FMIC. I have no problem outlaying the money, I guess I just some feedback from those in the know who can vouch that it's worth the spend. If so (and it seems that it probably is), then I'm keen.

Let us know when the cut off time is to take up the offer and I'll give a definate yay or nay then.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'll take one, '98 Gts2.5t.

I'll be away till 30th, but will slot my funds in then no probs [i've got the money waiting].

But I'm definitely in.

Hey Lucien, How does one confirm and also my Two guys are ready to make the direct deposit on Monday. Also can arrangenents be made to send the goods to the respective purchasers? I can give you the names and addresses of the two purchasers if you want. (Neither has a computer)

Thanks Lucien

Ian

hey lucien, just want to confirm that money for both the units for me has been organised, but just wondering, and not trying to sound greedy here or anything, but as mentioned earlier, the pfc's for r33 are cheaper then the other versions for sale here (only $100 or so).

is it possible to speak to brent and see if he can do a slightly better deal with the r33s? like i said i dont mean to sound greedy, but he is getting a sale of over 20 and he'd obviousy be making more from the r33's than other versions and i dont see why he shouldnt be able to make the same saving on both units which have the difference of 7500jpy ($92.00 AUD). so maybe, just maybe, we can get another buck in our pocket (which will be used to be spent on more mods :()

please take it into consideration..

$92.00 - thats my dyno run with the pfc to tune :D

thanx again :)

babs

hey dood...just confirming that I'm still in for this GB.

money is here and waiting...let me know payment arrangements (paying u or nengun directly) as soon as you know yourself.

thanks again :(

I have just sent out a PM (or via email where requested) to all those who have expressed interest: if you have not recieved it, please let me know

I am going to hit the sack: I got no sleep last night finishing an essay, so I am utterly exhausted. I will also be away this weekend, but I will try and keep in contact (I will be stuck on a 28.8 dialup and ancient computer, so no promises of instant responses till I get home on Sunday night).

Lucien.

Hey Lucien,

Please add me to the list also (R33 GTS25T S1). I have sent you a PM with a couple of questions re payment also.

Great effort mate - I hope it all works out.

Cheers, Peter.

guilty.. they are simple plug in units.. take you5-10minutes to put in yourself

as to tuning.. that really depends on how much time you want them to spend on the Dyno tuning..

say about $150-$200 an hour would be guess!

Hi Lucien,

Sorry for late entry but I am in also

1997 R33 GTS25T S2

Please put me down for 1 x Boost Control Kit also, i think the stock retail is around $376. 0404846899 if you need me, have cash ready to xfer

    • Pressure when IDLING, is meant to be 51PSi... So that amperage value needs to go up a fair chunk... I'd personally be factoring for more like 12amp at least on those runs, and at that point you need to hope the already there wiring doesn't drop you a volt or two, as that's a lot of fuel pressure flow drop off from 13.5 to 12V! Taking idle pressure of 51psi, means the pump will be drawing a MINIMUM of 9amps all the time based on your reading of the graph (3bar base, then allowing an extra 0.5bar for boost = roughly 51psi)
    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
