gauge location advise

Hey guys i am contemplating getting bleed valve and naturally i will need a boost gauge and i also want to get an oil temp gauge. I want to put them in the spare din slot i have under my head deck.

Mainly just want to know will they fit if i put in the 2 1/16 gauges. I will ring nissan on monday to see if they stock just a single din plate then i guess i can just cut the wholes in that and mount the gauges yea ???.

also if someone has a template or pics of a similar thing that would be great.

I removed the pocket got a sheet of 2 mm alloy and mark around the pocket fold it so that you have the two sides long enough so that you can use the factory holes in the

Brackets drill the holes for ya gauges you will find that you need to make the holes about 2-3mm up from the centre because the lower part of the pocket sits behind the console. Start polishing it will look like stainless steel when done

if ya want I will get some pics this week but will not have time to pull it all out to take other pics atm

Also if you are upping the boost I would get a air/fuel gauge rather than the oil temp ( it uses pin 29 on the ECU)
