R32 Heavy steering (GTs-t)

Hey guys,

my car failed the pits today cause the bloke reckons the steering is too heavy and doesnt't return to centre fast enough. It has a Tomei hicas lock kit but apparently this shouldn't affect the weight of the steering.

Any Ideas?

my mate had the same problem, when he tooks his r33 over the pits and as fane said it was the powersteering pump (i belived it needed to be replaced )

by pits, u mean CAMS scruteneer? ...if so, finding something pathetic is NOT their job. They are also motor enthusiests, doing those days voluntry for YOU so YOU can drive while they have to watch.

Sorry if u r refering to someone else But I don't think u's should bag the CAMS guys, there aren't enuff of them around, especially for drift, bagging them won't help.

Either way, it seems wierd they would pull those issues on ya's if it was CAMS.

they r referring to the licensing centres pits... so you can legally drive the car on the road.

One other thing, I did the HICAS diagnostics and the Speed sensor came up dodgy. Would this account for heavy steering maybe the computer thinking the car is going faster then it is?
