So any one else have any ideas even if you went to the party Saturday night you can all come along to see in the new year

At this stage there looks to be a party close to the bottom of the freeway to go to

so lets get this party started people

Ive noticed SA people are quite lately so louden up Everyone

Hope to hear from you all soon

We can offer a place (ours) for folks to meet and have a drink or 2, BBQ etc.

Quiet street with ample parking and no through traffic (safe for skylines)

Its kid friendly so partners and kids wouldnt be a problem.

Let me know if anyone wants it here (Tea Tre Gully area)

Come on Guys we need a lot more people to make this a massive new years

so cancel you existing plans and fill your tank and lets gets the numbers up so we

can make it a night to remember its not far away so lets get the messages up

lots of veiwing but a couple of posts only

If we cant make the numbers will have to cancel the idea!

Thankyou for your support and offer 4door sleeper it will be a go ahead if we can make up the numbers we are aiming for around 30 - 40 Imports to make it a killa night

:kick:

Danh, u finally get rid of the SC and go for turbo?

what turbo u are running?

can't wait to see yr car :)

thanks maxx

we will be experimenting on the turbo selection depending on the outcome

hopefull something that doesn't kickin suddenly (avoiding snap oversteer) and last up to 9krpm :D

I was hoping that it would be ready last week and then today but had the bad news yesterday. That's life sometimes....so no good christmas present for me this year unfortunately :)

thanks maxx

A nice adjustable boost controller (AVCR speed/rpm vs boost settings) or play with the exhaust housing size. :D

I don't think I will be able to make it. I 'may' be working. :D

Thanks for the suggestion. The AEM EMS has these features inbuilt

It has boost control with VSS/RPM, varibale boost settings and traction control. However getting the hardware right rather than relying on the software is always ideal.

I will let you guys know how it goes once everythings are done. I was quite excited a few weeks ago when I drove an s15 with similar turbo (and a lower redline limit). It's a bit disappointing to talk about this atm...no sport car to play with during Christmas and new year ..... I guess I've been a bad boy and spent too much time on my car this year...so no christmas present for me :D

BTW Merry christmas and all the best for the new year humble SAU fellows :D

Sorry, group of us tried to get there but got too pissed on the way.

Lets catch up for cruise soon before the nationals on Feb 26th.

Under the influence of forced induction - who can resist?

Happy new year everyone.

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
