Blitz
To my knowledge they use a very thick spacer plate between the head and the block with the OS 3 litre kit, at least thats what it looked like when Richard and I had a look. CerealKiller
Such as? what block are they using? I doubt they'd use the Aussie RB30E block. What does it rev up to? Beer Baron
what block are they using? I doubt they'd use the Aussie RB30E block. What does it rev up to? Fark no! they use an (fully prepped) RB26 block, then ad a (approx) 20mm spacer that bolts to the top of the block, then they insert some sleaves, new crank, new rods, new pistons etc then bolt on the heads. presto. 3 litre GTR engine Not sure what it revs to. Not as high as a fully prepped 26 will (12K) but still pretty high (maybe 9K or 10K). It's one kick ass car. Merli
what block are they using? I doubt they'd use the Aussie RB30E block. What does it rev up to? The OS Giken RB30 is designed to replace the block and bottom end components of an RB26DETT. The components used are rated for up to 1400hp, so it is ideally suited to extreme drag racing applications. It increases stroke to 86mm for a square 86mm/86mm bore/stroke ratio and a capacity of 2996cc. It comes pre-assembled as a short-block.
