Hi,

Just wondering... Does anyone know where I can get Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 tyres in australia. Bridgestone Australia do not sell them as they are tyre made by Bridgestone Japan. They are to fit the 17" mags on an R34 GT-T and I need them brand new.

Thanks

Damien

U need to speak to a bridgestone motorsport outlet. Apparently they are the only

ones authorised by bridgestone to sell the imported jap stuff. I bought RE55s

in WT "soft" compound semislick DOT rated road legal for my 33gtr. Got them from Magill Bridgestone motorsport outlet in Adelaide. Much cheaper than eastern states. They had truckloads of semi slick and slick tyres. Mind you you I only get

about 5000k out a set of the above. They shave seconds of lap times at the track

"but".

AFAIK, RE-01s are Jap only - I had them on my R33 when the car was complied.

If you can get them they will not pass ADR and will not be road legal (or so I'm told).

I'm running Re-55s in mid compound they're a great tyre but like sparkman said they wear very quickly.
