Maybe it was just the flamage from a Skyline exhaust they saw but never having seen a car that far north before they thought it was a dragon   :wassup:

ROFL!!! I think you just solved the phenomenon Adam! Those South QLD'ers are gonna be dissapointed when they find out there's no dragons in the Far North!

Yeah, its shit isn't it. You could always do what I did, I flogged off nearly everything I owned on ebay.. suckers paid 3/4 to 4/5 what I paid for them. Bed, washing machine, fridge, tv, etc..

You lose maybe a $200 on each item... but you can move to QLD and buy it all back again brand new :rofl:. Cost me about $1k that way :D

What I had left at the time all fit in the R33 :D

I always though the other idea.. was to rent a budget truck.. for like a few days.. Open up the dash, disconnect the odometer - drive it to wherever with all your stuff, and then plug the odometer back in. Of course this may be highly dodgy / illegal / fraudulant, if you crashed you're in BIG trouble..lol :D

Yeah, I'm thinking about having a garage sale before I go, see how much stuff I can get rid of. Can't fit too much in the 33 LOL! Did you drive up? I'm gonna drive up, should be a pretty cool drive, not looking forward to the stone chips and bugs though!!! I'll give your last suggestion a miss mate! :rofl:

You could also try a few of the forsale forums.. trading post, etc as well. Didn't take me too long actually.

It's surprising what you can fit in a R33.. you can stack up a heap of boxes across the back seat..

You do get a nice collage of bug splatters.. took me months to get the damn bugs outta the front bar and cooler! Stone chips aren't too bad as long as you don't sit up the ass of cars should be right.

should be right for locus' .. i drove back around xmas time to melb and back, and there were stuff all, except just over the VIC border. I drove just after sunset too... although you do get more bugs at night because they love splattering themselves on the headlights .. the kangas are the things you need to watch out for at dawn/dusk.

locus aren't as bad as they make out, well anyhow, not that I saw..

Hey Bec, I should be outta here within the next 2 weeks. I am heading up there tomorrow for a couple of days, just to sort some stuff out, then back here to sort some more stuff out.... aaaagh, it is a very stressful time at the moment, I just want to go.

"when are you actually leaving???" ... uuummm are you hanging for me to leave or something? hehehe ... I know you'll miss me driving past your house 10 times a day hey?! :D

I am gunna miss your car (& you of course) - I know the noise so well now I can pick your car out a mile away, I hear you coming from the roundabout and I know it's you.

      KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.

      Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.

      There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.

      yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
