firstly i will say don't get me wrong and i am not trying to put anyone of, chriss seems like a great guy to deal with and reasonably honest.

I have had a look at this vehicle, and yes it looks very nice and flashy but don't get taken in by this, there are a few parts of the car that additional care need to be taken when looking at the car at the time when i looked at the car. I also had the car checked over by a professional mechanic in wagga wagga where we met half way. the verdict was:

MECHANICAL

Car has a dual stage boost controller running 12 pound and 9 pound, the car handled the boost quiet well, it seems to get up and move alright, but we kept blowing the bottom intercooler hose off due to the standard hose clamps used.

i didn't notice any noise in the gearbox and it shifted fine, the car felt really good to drive, the suspension sat well and it was comfortable, but be awar of the following:

- Diff has so much play that the mechanic said he would be surprised if he would make it back to sydney, also had oil pissing out of it which if you look under the car you will see oil even on the exhaust. diff is only a single spinner, or just that rooted. (sit in the back while chris drives it, that clunk you hear isn't the exhaust) also you have to question why a car with only approx 116,000 km's has a rooted diff

- fuel pressure regulator was leaking

- front brake pads are below the wear bars and are starting to squeak

- front discs looked a little scoured but still alright

TYRES AND RIMS

- Rear tyres are rooted, worn right down on the inside of the tyres where the IRS squats when you boot it.

- Rims are quite marked, fixable but at the money asked for the car a bit too chipped up.

- look at the under body behind the rears at all the rubber under there???? makes you wonder

BODY

- Both doors are a noticbly different colour to the rest of the car, even the mechanic noticed and commented to me, and i showed chris and he acknowleded the differenc in colour.

- the paint around the boot and bonnet hinges looks very dodgey in my opinion that at one stage in its life the boot and bonnet havent been on the car and it has sat in the weather. around the gaurds on the front in the bonnet looked shabby too.

- The paint on most of the car has an orangepeel effect and i believe isn't the original paintwork

- pay attention to the left hand side infront of the rear wheel where in different light you can see a ripple throught that panel or paint, unsure, but looked dodgey

- the engine bay is the usual dull coloured burgandy which isn't very attractive

- front bar was recently repaired, but the paintwork dosn't look that crash hot.

- two pindents on the roof, one behind the drivers door one on the front right gaurd (very minor) and two also minor on the left gaurd. (these were also brought to chris's attention)

- on the front gaurds (particuarly the left hand) where the spoiler meets the paint is starting to crack from the panel, but with any low car i guess you get this, when you scrape the bar even lightly it hits the gaurd, i guess a common problem.

- missing the nissan logo thing on the boot, that you turn to put your key in.

INTERIOR

- rip in drivers seat (not on the seam & padding worn where ripped)

- minor marks on the headliner, which hangs down at the back window a bit

- handbrake boot dosn't sit right

- tray under head unit dosn't sit right (common)

- colour coding looks shit (my opinion)

- head unit looks dirty with marks on it, stereo wasn't that impressive, boot was pretty neat though.

there are two screw holes in the steering colum where there had been a gauge screwed on to it.

- there is a misile switch which apparently used to be for the driving lights in the original bar which the old switch panel under is damaged, just looks ordinary.

- seats were pretty good other than the drivers, rear was all pretty clean.

Just my two cents worth, just making anyone aware who is looking at the car.

just to save the confussion also:

- The car is owned and registered by his family's company

- Chris has been given authorisation from the director (his mum) on behalf of the company to sell the car, so you are giving the money to the company and getting a recipet from the company. (i verified this with his parents and it is all legit etc.)

I would recomend getting a blueslip with the car from a mechanic shop that you recomend, as chris works for a car dealership and told me he recently had the car looked over and said that everythign was fine. But after noticing obvious things that didn't quiet add up i had it checked over...

p.m me for more info, would be a good car at the right price.....

    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
