Why did they add Peov's story at the end? Is it really necessary? Honestly...

When Sydney got that last hail warning, I parked my car in the factory attached to our offices. The GM, who had also just done the same thing, saw my car & said "Skyline driver, eh? People die in those things".

Bah. Bloody media.

Stupid wankers. How affordable is WSID? Do they have to do it on the streets?

As if beating up the media crew is going to make the story any better.

Of course it will. They will love it! I can just see the headline in Daily Telegraph:

Dozens of Daily Telegraph media crew violently beaten as illegal street racers clash

Special report: OUT of the six Daily Telegraph crew on location in South Strathfield two were given blows to the face. The rest of the team had to undergo therapy for their emotional stress.

This comes as a last drop in Daily Telegraph Cam'P'ain against P platers. As of today the following are the changes that Daily Telegraph sees to be appropriate to keep the road toll under control:

- No vehicles more powerful than 50 kW/tonne to be driven by persons under 40 years of age.

- Curfew for drivers under 30 in effect from 9 pm to 7 am

- Any people talking to each other next to their cars parked are to be deemed ass street racers and to be taken to custody. Vehicles are to be confiscated.

- If one is caught speeding more than 1 km/hr over the limit his or her license is to be cancelled for a period 3 years.

Nah bro, only pussehs do it at the track...

Idiots. I didn't really read the 'beat on media' part. Thats gotta be one of the dumber reactions I've heard.

Is there a 'Mothers Against Skylines' petition yet? If not, there probably soon will be.

LOL igor man hahhahahahaha thats a good one! LOL

I'm suprised the tsunami wasn't attributed to an accident involving a Skyline

...the impact from the high powered, P-plated-GTR-GTS-t-supercharged-turbo-death-weapon-Skyline, read 18.3 on the richter scale...

Seriously, once you've been on the track you never look back. If you've never been and have a fast car go, its the best money you'll ever spend, and it could save your life!

Street racing is just too dangerous, I know we are all guilty of the traffic light grand prix, but take it easy people, if that shitbox gets round your line... who cares. You KNOW you look better :P

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
