BP Ultimate in Canberra?

I was thinking about changing over to BP Ultimate from Optimax, and I thought that it was available from Kingston and Phillip... but the BP website doesn't show Ulimate available this side of Sydney. As I'm almost certain that it is available at Marulan, they would mean their web site is stuffed, but I don't really feel up to ringing up all of the BP servos in Canberra.

So - has anyone seen BP Ultimate for sale in Canberra?

I only use BP Ultimate (I had to put Optimax in it yesterday as I didnt have enough to make it to a BP - and its hate f#cking me for it already with the knock sensor going crazy!!) and its definately availible from Civic, Kingston, Phillip and Chisholm. Not too sure about northside as I live south

Yea most BP servos have Ultimate....

Yup Ultimate Is All I Poor Into My Tank. There Is Also One In Queanbeyan. Best Fuel Out. I Heard A Rumour That Mobile Uses The Same Fuel As Ultimate Now

I'm quite sure Ultimate is availiable in 2 places in Queanbeyan, one of them is the BP next to the main drag, and the other (I'm definite on this one) is the little BP on...Uriarra Road (I believe it's called).

So that makes six? places?

um their is a bp at macquire or however you spell it near the slides but i didnt check if it had ultimate as i just drive past it.

As far as i know the only northside BP ultimate is in Braddon, i haven't seen it anywhere else yet. the guys there know me by my first name almost

I fill up on BP Ultimate at Braddon, Phillip and Chisholm. It's been hovering around $1.06 +- 3c or so these days

yep i filled up on it a qbn on tuesday night, i never thought there was any diff beetween the 2 (optimax and ultimate) but after puttin a tank of optimax back in the car a few months ago, it felt like someone had taken my turbo off untill i put ultimate back in.

i used Optimax back when i first got my car. I wasn't driving at the time so i can't comment on perfromance, but i remember it made the exhaust fumes smell really bad. Don't use it myself anymore.

BP Ultimate is the way to go. Vortex 98 is not as good. Apparently the RON is not advertised on Vortex as some Caltexs sell 95 or 98 Vortex. Best to check b4 filling up and use only if u have to!

rd-runr...you might be right....I talked to the guy at caltex(kambah) the other day, he told me it was only 96ron and that I should use optimax for my car... I was like wtf??.. now he tells me, after I already filled up

I think there's two Vortex's though. I read in a car mag recently they have released 98RON Vortex. As far as i know the old Vortex was only 96RON?

yeah theres the vortex which is the 96 one, and now theyve brought out Vortex98, which i guess is supposed to be 98RON, but i havent heard anything else about it
