2.) ecu - moded? aftermarket?

3.) air filter of some sort?

4.) air con?

5.) stereo of some sort?

6.) is that stone chips on the bonnet? how is the rest of the body work? panels and paint?

7.) what injectors did you JUST HAVE FITTED? stockers?

8.) the Teins.. height and damper adjustable as well?

9.) The 2 way LSD - brand? how is it in regular road use? in the wet? I mean, How locked is it? does it skip the inside wheel at every turn?

Sorry for hounding..

Just want a clearer pic of the car and it's details..

1.) turbo has standard wheels so yes its still ceramic. all i wanted was 200RWKW and a har a r33 turbo that had shaftplay so i har new bearings put in it and the inlet and exhaust housing slichtly ported to increase spoolup and flow

2.)ECU is a standard ECU chipped by toshi from these forums

3.) air filter of some sort? yes brand new HKS style filter is fitted. i never drove without one just took the old one off to show the airbox

4.) air con? nope! the compressor is available if needed but no aircon

5.) stereo of some sort? sorry no there is no stereo

6.) is that stone chips on the bonnet? how is the rest of the body work? panels and paint? yes there are stone chips in the bonnett i can organise to have them painted for you if you like as for the rest of the body it is in good condition

7.) what injectors did you JUST HAVE FITTED? stockers? yes 270cc's with high flow filter baskets and pintle caps so they flow 294cc

8.) the Teins.. height and damper adjustable as well? yes height and damper ajustable

9.) The 2 way LSD - brand? how is it in regular road use? in the wet? I mean, How locked is it? does it skip the inside wheel at every turn? it feels exactly like an open diff for normal driving untill you push the car through a corner and then it locks very tightly and smoothly i do not know the brand.

seriously if you are interested in the car you should call me so i can anser all your questions. ;)

Sorry for hounding..

thats the best quality photo i can take with my crappy digital camera!

Hi GTST wow u do have a lot of questions.

please call me and i will give you more details

very cool ceffy and VERY cheap... still cant believe ur only selling for bloody 12500... ur mental ;) 197kw in a ceffy will kill any 200kw GTST skyline just based on the weight alone...

even with the kiddie chair and family in it :)

i have just had a full mechanical inspection done on it and i am getting a few things fixed as i want to sell it in perfect mechanical condition.

things getting done:

full service changing

motul 4100 turbolight

genuine nissan oil filter

ngk copper plugs

new hks air filter element

genuine nissan fuel filter

change all diff, gearbox, brake, clutch fluids

i have also decided to replace the gearbox as i have one with 80,000ks that i intended to put in anyway

so the car will be in tip top condition with 12 mts rego for the new owner!

god damn! im sellin my exa n buyin one!

just watchin jairus drift on HO5 makes me want to go out n do the same...

sorry for goin offtopic but i just love ceffys

free bump to mate

Cheers Christian

I know this car is setup for drift but what would have to be done to it to make it a more comfortable everyday road car?

nothing at all. i drive it every day and it is very comfortable. suspension is very firm but i like it that way. the coilovers are ajustable so you can ajust the ride if you like.

I just had the car dyno'd at 0.9 bar and the power curve is nice but there is too much fuel as the tune was written for 1.2 bar.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
