farking fark fark fark :):D :D ;)

Got it, and it doesn't farking run properly......freezes every time it tries to load from the disc.....called sony today and they suggested vacuuming it to undust it (it is one of the first ps2s released). s till doesnt farking work and I didnt keep the receipt to either a) get a replacement disc, or B) exchange for a new ps2 / disc deal.

Anyone got a working ps2 they want to sell cheap?

the 'Ring' is to damn long. and the ia license test on it is a bitch.

Just won me a 'Sileighty' woo hoo.

i didn't transfer the 100K over either, spoils the game i reckon. just do the Nissan races and the Jap races they a worth a few hundred K

I have 27 cars. 18 of which i have won. what has everyone else got?

Has anyone finished the GTR streamline test, in driving missions?

anyone else played with B-spec? i like it except they don't always overtake when and how you want them to, but ohh well.

Nuremberg is awesome!! I love the narrowness and the long straights with hills.

I did think the $100k from GT3 did take part of the initial challenge of the start, but $100k really only got me a GTR and did that up to the nine's. It's not really enough to win anything more than the beginner tracks though.

Should have probably gone for something else. Notice how the GTR's braking is very crap? It should have some of the best braking with the Brembo's, but it doesn't :)

You'll need the PS2 Network adaptor for each machine ($70 from David Jones), a 5 ports switch and two CAT5 network cables.

If you get the Network adaptors, you can then also install an IDE hard drive into your machine.

Good Luck

Thanks mate!

So can you use a regular router? I've got a wireless router that's got 4 ports at the back. Is that good enough?

Yeah, the four port router should do it quite fine. Duncan, give Quantronics a call ( www.quantronics.com.au ). Sounds like your laser is on the way out. This is a very common cause and you shouldn't have troubles replacing it.

Oh, and Nurburgring IS INSANE. The first 3 laps i did in it (in stock R32 GTST + exhaust) I was going "This track is nuts!!! every 10 seconds"...

What did you use to plug your ps2 into the pc?

btw: the burger ring track is amazing!

I'm using the fusion HDTV DVB-t plus tv-tuner. its a high definitiion tv tuner for the pc but it also has a capture card built in. this would set u back bout $210.

a cheaper alternative, but just as effective would be to either just purchase a cature card or (i just saw this a few days ago on the net) a VGA adaptor for the PS2.

the basic advantages of the tv-tuner is that i can record video footage as well as watch tv on my pc.

    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
