what you mean keep it in 1 peice? will go that high easy without over stressing the engine. Only failures i have with constant thrashing was 2 injectors because didnt service them when put int(was running 550cc RX7 injectors), besides that the engine ran smooth the whole time.

Each to their own though im just talking from personal experiance. from an oversquare rev happy engine more rpm the better :)

To my knowledge (and what i have set my red line cut out on my ECU) it is 7850rpm

This is more than enough revs, you mainly have to worry about still being in torque curve when u shift to the next gear, and you should well be if you shift at this point... anymore than that (over 8000rpm) i think is a bit dangerous :)

one peice as in these engine are getting old, and i dont wanna be doing 8000rpm and have the oil pump/water pump/belts/etc give up on me. i loved reving my r32 aswell, but there just didnt seemed to be much point after 7k, at most 7500...what ever floats your boat buddy ;)
