Yes you do need a current drivers license. It is a requirement of the insurance we take out for the day. I have confirmed this as we had someone with a suspended license last track day and had to cancel their participation.

what exciting insurance do we receive on the day? I dont get insurance on the road, ill be extremely happy to receive it on the track.

Note: I know its probably public liability or the likes of that

alright i'm lost. Is this day going to go ahead or are the numbers short? Has anybody asked the supra boys whether they would like to share, or anyone else for that matter? because if this day is not going ahead, i'll go to the may 9th track day etc.....

is that the plan? or are all spots on the may ninth day filled?

cheers, Mark

Mark, I'll clarify:

Sunday May 22 - Only has about 14 people signed up. It looks like being cancelled.

Monday May 9 - Has enough people claiming to come but not enough payments. Past history tells me people are not coming until the cash is in the bank. So this day is also in trouble.

    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
