It's just got 12 months rego on it and has copped 2 services in the small time that i've owned it. I've only been able to put 4500kms on it in this time so the engine is basically 8500kms old. It's made 240kw@wheels in current tune but depending on how you want to set the cams up there's another 10-20kw@wheels in it if you dial it in for top end power rather than response. I'm basically looking for mid 20's or so but can be negotiable depending on a few things. If anyone is looking for a track car, or wants something very well sorted and quick on the track this could well be it! It's been seam welded in the lovely spot between the front guard and the door that 200sx's love to come apart to increase chassis rigidity.

This thing is just so easy to drive quickly on the track as was evidence of my first time out at wakefield with no previous experience, pulling off a 1:15 in the wet on low boost.

I can be contacted via pm or by email to

[email protected] .

Cheers,

Luke

still for sale people. Sad news is that Luke has been in hospital due to a broken ankle but will be home by weeks end.... anyone that may be interested is still welcome to come check it out :D:D:D

price - I know last time i spoke with Luke he was looking at offers around the mid $20k. Luke can confirm this when he gets home later this week....

Pics - i am sure Luke has some he can send you when at a computer

Hey Guys there's a few things that need to be taken into consideration now after i've broken my ankle and are unable to do a few things i would've liked before sale.

It needs a wheel alignment, the CES dump pipe needs to go back in as it's got a trust dump pipe at the moment... not that there is much difference really. It's about 2-3 kw up top and a little bit down low. Other than that it just needs a front bar as always due to it being "kangaroo modified" by the previous owner. I'm willing to take this into consideration on the price obviously. As i said i was looking for mid 20's but i can be negotiable, please make an offer if you are interested as due to my ankle it's just a garage queen now.

Hey Guys,

Price has been updated for one of the better setup 200sx's in the country. If your looking for a track weapon this is definitely a car to consider. If it wasn't for certain family issue's and a shattered ankle there is no way i'd sell it.

Cheers,

Luke

Must be sold, i have something else lined up to suit my crippled needs!!

Come on guys, someone must want an extremely well setup 200sx

It has a whole jap spec series 1 rear end on it. You'll notice that the rear bumper doesn't have any reflectors in it, nor does the bootlid have a brake light in it either. It is however a 1997 model series 2

i dont know. guess its not for me then. good luck with the sale though.

hey guys,

This thing has to go as i'm moving out. Slight changes are now there's a power fc in there, making 245kw@wheels @ 20psi. Also it has 17x7 & 17x8 Avs model 6's on there in gold as well as a set of 18x9 & 18x10.5 SSR Sp1's that can come with it

Asking 23K negotiable

    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
    • Here's the chart for fuel pressure vs. current draw, assuming your base fuel pressure is 3 bar and you run like 0.5bar boost on WOT, you should only momentarily hit 9amps here and there. (Ignore my prev post, I cannot read a chart these days it seems)
