Anyone know how many points you lose if you get caught in a bus lane? would you even lose points?!?!

also, how long are you allowed in a bus lane? say if you were turning left at the next intersection/side street/etc, how long can you drive in the bus lane before you get to the point you turn off?!!?

u can enter the bus lan when there's 50m to your turn

and 100m to overtake.... (or maybe 50 for overtake)

you dont loose points but i got fined for being in a bus lane in jan and it was a $155 fine.

f you are fined for driving in a Bus Lane you will incur 3 demerit

points.

Bus lanes are for buses, but also can be used by taxis, hire cars,

vehicles operated by or under direction of the RTA, bicycles and

motorcycles. Other vehicles may only enter a bus lane 100 meters

before turning.

bus lanes are 3 points, but transit lanes are free game, no points just a fine......I just kind of look at it as a transit lane toll.

I think the T2 Transit lanes are a waste of time and space. The only cars I ever see in them have only 1 person in the car
