Ok people, just went into the CBA, and told them that I want to deposit some money into an account.  Gave them his BSB and ACC details and just wanted to confirm that it was:

D. Horsfield

78 Bruce Street,

COOKS HILL NSW 2300

Well, they confirmed it was him.  I tried to get his number off them but couldnt : (

If i can just get his number and contact him, i think we can put an end to it.

Atleast we are getting somewhere now : )

I am sure there is a sau member that can go to his house and toy with him abit and that there is an advertisement on the internet is that he is selling cheap pfc and hand controllers and they are interested in purchasing 5 or so and see what he says. Thats should freak him out abit atleast. Then you can pounce

You have to be a complete moron to send $650 interstate.......haven't you guys learned anything from all the Ebay frauds and other SAU members etc that have been jibbed. Also $650 for a PFC + handcontroller.....its got to be bullshit

INSIST ON COD ( Cash On Delivery)!!!!!!! It costs about $20!

twits

He wanted $850 for the power fc and controller (second hand). The post was only up for like 3 mins in total, i quickly messaged him and said i will transfer money over immediately if he would give it for $650.

Well i learnt my lesson : )

On his profile it stated he was born in 1960 - so he is a mature bloke. 45years old - thats 20yrs my Senior. I wont be doing any 'thumping' its not my style mate. I'll give him a call speak to him nicely, and if there is no success in the conversation, ill leave it to the police.

I have dealt with probably 50+ internet transactions and never have been jibbed. Using your brain rather than COD is the best solution.. In fact I would in fact.. be more suspicious on COD. Who knows who works in the post office itself, or has the connections.

I live 5 mins from this address. I could probably even snap a few shots of the guy - not that they'd be useful or anything, but it'd be just like a stakeout on TV and I've always wanted to do that :).

Mate if you can do that it would be good. Just want to confirm that there is a guy living there. See if he looks 40'ish to you.

I called him on his home phone but no answer. I might just have to visit the police station. But how would they help?

Do i just tell them i sent money to a guy but he never sent the parcel and he no longer answers any calls or emails?

He probably see's the interstate number and thinks.. hrmm.. i won't answer that.

To block caller ID in SA I think the number you dial in front of the number is 1832 or something similiar. 1382.. 1832.. I 99% sure its 1832. :)

Or maybe he has logged on and had a read of this thread. :)

OK, I probably won't get a chance to stake the place out (have to work), but whenever I'm around the street (fairly often), I'll drive past it to see if any lights are on and see if anyone is around.

Lol just don't get arrested as a stalker dude!! hahaha been reading this with interest. Hope you get your money back man. Sick of reading about all the guys being ripped off by various people!!

these shifty phucks need to be taught a lesson i reckon. Maybe a vigilante SAU gang which rolls on anyone that rips us off!! LOL

(ps that was a joke...kinda!)

keep us informed.....

STAKEOUT!! YEAH

    • With the system, once you drive it for a bit, and before you turn the car off, does the car fix its date and time? When you say the date is wrong, what date does the vehicle think it is, and does it always show the same date? My thoughts from a process driven view is; The system may be defaulting to a standard start date/time. The main reason you'd typically see this occuring, is the system is losing its constant/backup power supply.   If its always defaulting to the same date/time at start up, and especially if it fixes itself while driving, I'd say either the non volatile memory has an issue, or the power supply to the volatile memory that stores this information.   The other thing I'd check is if there is anywhere in the system you can adjust the date and time from. If the date/time is still moving forward since it wished you happy new year, then it is 100% possible the system has just had a bit of data corruption occur, and you likely need to find a way to reset the date/time in the vehicle.
    • Scissor Jacks are an accident waiting to happen, the only time they should be used are in an roadside flat, even then a tyre and rim should be placed underneath
    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
