Please do enter Mr Wombat.

There is a Best Interior Ricky. This basically means best presented interior. All your gauges, pfc, ICE, etc would need to be mounted nicely and everything matching and working well together. It's an asthetic judgement really so just make it look good.

Basically this day is a social event. It's an excuse to polish up your car and show it off along with a bunch of likeminded people. IT IS NOT AUTOSALON! We don't care if you have stone chips on your bonnet. Just get it clean and bring it. There will be lots of swapping of stories and advice given from people a little further down the mod path than you. You might be surprised to find that people will just come up and talk to you about your car and give you free tips. Stuff like, "Oh see how your car is like that. If you do this it fixes that problem." You say, "I was wondering how to fix that. I didn't think it would be so easy."

At the moment we have more prizes than entries so get entering people.

im gonna send my entry off on friday morning, how will i know that you guys recieved it? are you gonna send a confirmation PM or what?

i know of two R31's that will be entering from canberra. both are quite neat.

    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
    • This thread keps giving with the OMG!
    • A quick google, and some E39 users have found pulling my sensor out/apart and cleaning it alleviates their issue. Then get the oil warning to go off, and once it is off (from the sensor saying it was unhappy) some find they can just unplug it and it is happy to just keep going now. Maybe give it a crack? If you can actually pull the sensor apart, hit it with some electrical contact cleaner.
    • Yep. In the E39 it's slightly different than the others. Honestly I'd just leave it but every time I drive the car it tells me oil is low and that just makes me check the dipstick. It is a BMW Afterall and it tries to expel it's own oil regularly.  Thankfully it's not like my E90 that has no dipstick at all so you just gotta trust it.
