Hey everyone,

I am new to this club. I have recently customized my R33. I have painted it Citric Acid of the XR6/8, it is this beautiful Lime Green. It has a full body kit, heaps of mods on the engine and 18"chrome mags. IT rocks...

SVI in Brisbane did everything for me. I would recommend them to anyone.

My pictures are to big to upload on this website...

But if you would like to see them my email address is [email protected] or you guys could check it out on Car Domain websit: the link is http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/821315/2

Hope to hear from you all ;)

Tina

Welcome to SAU Tina.

Don't worry about the guys in this section - they like older skylines (hence "classic skylines"). Your thread should have been in another section but that's ok - most other sections of this forum are a little more forgiving than these guys.

When you post there is a "manage attachments" button you can click. That will let you upload images (they can't be too big though).

A moderator may move this post somewhere else so if you can't find it it's probably moved to General Skylines section (or whatever it's called).

:P

Thanks for your help :) At least their are a couple of nice people on this website, nice to see I met the w*nkers of the site in the first thread I posted lol...

But its all cool - it has been moved to the "right section" now so all you babies can stop having a cry now... :(

But have a good one...

Thanks,

Sklyine_Girl01

Damn, if you ask me that is a f**king sweet looking Skyline.

Lets just hope that nothing goes wrong with it mechanically because by the sounds of it, you're EXTREMELY happy with it so far!

I would say I'm jelous but I also have an R33 Gts-t Skyline, being modified to the shithouse at the moment ($9k of mods) so yeh, I'm all good.

ive seen a few lines that colour...with the same kit on them aswell....

needs to be lower. that is all. maybe some tougher rims, but thats just me.

big up for being a chick though.

cheers

    • Hell, I'm sufficiently wary of the ZSS suspension arms, let alone something like a hub.
    • Got it back home and got started pulling the hub off and diagnose the issue. Axle was stuck after removing the 36mm nut so i used a 3 jaw puller to try and push it out and... eH5FXvJ8.mp4   spend the next few hours trying to remove the axle from the remaining hub as it was very much jammed in there when the spindle sheared off. resulting damage as below R53AIy6 - Imgur.mp4   Looks like the was already a stress fracturing in the spindle as can be seen with the darker cracked section My working theory is maybe when the pinion gear exploded last year the shock put through the hub was the initial crack. Then a few events later it finally let go. Just lucky it happened where it did and not 190km/h on the next sweeper or into the hairpin The bearing/hub assembly went in in 2019 and were non-genuine "ZSS" assemblies and no nails were harmed in the process. #BreakHubsNotNails
    • Thanks mate, couldn't find in VIC, ended up ordering one from NSW, getting rwc to get new plates and registration done.
    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
