Sorry, its flash point alram. But I check the parking space, there are few wires on the ground. And nothing can do about it. The bad day in my life. It is my first GTR and only have it for nearly half an year. Just bought a suspension for it and it will arrival next week.

I hope I can get it back even the engine is gone. I spent 6 month to pick a good 89 GTR and lots of money that I already spent on this car. Oh my god................

Can't say anymore.

Thanks everyone.

I think they cut the wires when they steal the car. Coz the car is park at B4 and after like 12 o'clock, no body will stay in there. The wires are all black and there is a few black tape which I think is for the alram wiring use. But I dont know. can not think anything more. Hope I can find it. PLzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... If anyone got information or something. ring me. These days are so many cars been stolen. GOD!!!!

Sigh, another one...what is this city coming too?

Good luck finding it mate - hope you get it back in one piece...

I actually went and bought a steering lock today as an additional deterent to my alarm/immobiliser...seems like we need all the security we can get these days :)

Thanks everyone, if I can get the car back. I will just put into millon storage or something like that until I buy a house at the end of the year. When I have seen these days that so many car has been stolen. I had a strong feeling that my car is not secure. But I didn't do anything to secure the car. Only got the fleash point alram in it. Nothing else. But nothing I can do now. wait for the police to call me. see all the photos of my GTR in the computer. Dammm......

strathfield? wtf!!! dn no the area was dat bad, as i'm also from strathfield.

that suck man, def keep an eye out once my defects are cleaned up..

maybe someone was eyeing it out for a while?

Yeh! u might right. Someone was eyeing it I believe. I dont know how are they steal the car from the car park. Coz the tow turck wouldn't came in to that car park and tow it away. My friend told me it might be someone use a 4WD to tow it away or something. Or they professional to get rid of the alram and drive it away. But Whatever, my car is gone. Hope I can get it back....

OH MA F***** GOD!!! Another Skyline stolen! god aya, i feel for u man! trust me, i kno how it feels wen ur skyline is gone from under ur nose :) i jus truly hope that you get it bak in one piece man and i also hope that u had insurance on ur car...anyways, will keep an eye out for u mate! goodluck gettin ur car bak n i wish those a**holes die the most horrifying death ever! :)

good luck finding it,

sorry to hear another skyline gone,

hope you get it back like the others.

what is a flahpoint alarm?

does the car park have cameras?

no witnesses?

YES, there were security cameras and some of the people who were hanging around strathfield late last night and told me they saw a black GTR leave my security car park. Went to see the building manager, he looked at the security tape and told me he saw me black GTR been driven away. ALready been to the police about this. Hope they can use this information.

good luck mate.. im always worried about mine too!

i see people always mention 'did the alarm have black wiring' when cars get stolen...

well you will know if you have ever installed an alarm, it doest really matter if they are black, or how expensive the alarm is, its more to do with how much effort and time is put into the install.

They face on the carmera, but they try to hid their face when they drive out of the car park. Still waitting for the apprment manager on monday and he can check the time they come in and out. BUt i dont think that will help a lot. I believe it is orgazined. Coz their are 3 BMW and 1 of the 200SX park at there as well. Damm.... didn't sleep very well last night. very very sad..........................

Shit, just called a friend and he said he saw a set of VOlks TE37 gold 17" sold really quickly and cheaply on ebay yesterday. ****!!!!! Im guessing most probably they were mine. I really need your help guys, if anyone knows anyone who bought them or any info on them please let me kno. It would b great to get the seller id and their address!!!!!! Wanna strangle those sons of bitches. Thanks guys keep a look out and spread the word. Be alert for your own cars man!!!!

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
