my front lip is finally here

hey guys

some of you might remember how i was waiting for my carbon fibre front lip to arrive from custom carbon on QLD

well its finally here 3 months later but im very happy with it

yep the nissan one is about 400

the carbon is 600

because that was the first one he made so he had to do the mould and everything

i dunno how much they are now though

edit: just spoke to Custom Carbon and said that they can do them for $600 and need 2 weeks to make them

2GU UP 2 - he said he didn't charge you for the mould so yours was the 'normal' price

what about the 32GTR front bars you can get from UAS with the carbon lip?

i think they're 750 for the whole front bar?

wouldnt 600 therefore be a little exxy for just the lip?

that bar is a one off apparently

and im pretty sure the lip isnt full carbon just just a layer on top and its part of the bar not seperate one like mine

The million dollar question! Just about everyone who has a 32R has a scratched or broken front lip... unfortunately they rarely come up for sale, and 400 bucks for a bit of plastic to me is a bit steep

nice, very nice! aren't you worried about scratching it up and destroying it though, especially with your ride height?

i know if i spent that much money on something like that and was in your car - i would either never drive my car around, or raise it to a height where the asphalt cant try to bond with the CF so easily!

nah lol i just dont have the proper clips etc etc yet

so i just cable tied it on for now
