Well blacky went back to the pits yesterday, after have the stock suspension puyt back in, a spacer under an engine mount fitted, some fiberglass packing infront of the cat to make it super quiet accompanied by some expensive paperwork saying it was under 90dB's, a gas analyzer print out for emissions, new tail lights and front indicators and a few other bits and pieces.

The guy mentioned my shift light was illegal and the rsm because it faced the driver, if they point straight down the center of the car they are legal. But after a brief look over the car he says thanks for making a good effort to correct the things we picked up on last time, dont care about that stuff on the dash ill clear your defects....

Hmmmm now the car had no highmount stop light, tyres were too large and stick out past the guards to name 2 of the many obvious things wrong with it.... but hey im not complaining.. just happy to be able to drive it again, none the less it went straight home, got loud again, and coilovers re fitted ;)

Coilovers are illegal because they are not ADR approved..... quote the transport officer, some old fella that had it in for me....

Non of our cars are ADR approved, there ****en low volume imports... but anyway

When it went back for re inspection i wazs having a chat to the younger guy that looked over my car and he said he would of passed it with coilovers.

Bottom line is, if u are concerned about being defected put your car in the garage and never drive it again. They can and will do u for anything even if they make shit up.... Yes u can fight it but most people dont... its what comes with owning an import or performance car and u have to take the good with the bad.
