Ah good stuff.

Have I been slack or did I end up emailing you or linking you the pics of my door install?

Oh well either way you have done well so I guess it doesn't matter. Sorry if I didn't but my server went down and I'm not sure if you were one of the people I was meant to send pics to and didn't... or did.

Yeah you did man. Big help it was too.

But yeah, doing the deadening made a big difference. Probably mostly the foam on the door card its self. Its really soild now, like you cant move it, it feels a lot stronger.

i want to buy an elephant.

this thread has officially been hijacked.

i've always preferred a leopard, so I can scare the neighbourhood kiddies and plus it will open cans of pepsi for me on demand. tho i sometimes have to chase it on my mountain bike first.

makes for a good car alarm if you leave him in the backseat too.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
