I used "the Club" until last night....

managed to go to the nearest shopping centre near my gf's place and put on the club. Forgetting the fact the key was on my other set of keys at my place some 100kms away :(

Called the local RAA (RACV, VAC whatever they are called in your area) and bolt cutters wouldnt cut it, and a hacksaw bounced off it. Hardened steel :(

Had to call a locksmith who couldnt pick the star key lock, but had to drill out the barrel of the damn thing to get it off in the end....$110 later for the locksmith, and 2 1/2 hours of my time in the car in the rain.....im home

yes!!!

Is there a place in Sydney that actually sells these? or did you get yours off the site? if so how long did it take to arrive etc? how's it fit? went throug the site and it looks quite good.

i got a prolock one in chrome...looks the best and is about $50 bucks and also if you have one fitted and your car gets stolen they pay up to $2000 of your excess......

I wish they had that when i found mine snapped in half on the side of the road where my car used to be.

If you are really paranoid about getting your car stolen, get the steerting lock with the pedal clamps, and also the gear shift locker

And while your at it... go down to the wherehouse and get some chain and padlocks ... chain up your wheels to the nearest concret barrier or immovable object. also don't forget to chain your seat in an uncomfortable position, disconnect the car battery, remove all the fuses and spark plugs and distribuitor cables.

I've heard you can drill a hole in your fuel lines and put a little tap there (turn the tap off and chain it up too).

Then if your still worried, super glue your tiers to the ground...

Abus Carblock, wouldnt use anything else.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
