Sorry to dig up an old thread but it's all relevant :( I'm after the same set of plugs, but I can't seem to find any. I tried Coventry's on someone else's advice but they don't have any. I also tried ringing a couple of Mazda wreckers but they had none either.

Does anyone know where I can get them from in Sydney and roughly how much I should be paying? I'll try a few more wreckers in the meantime.

Edit: I'm going to try Findapart.com.au and see what happens.

Around $80 each is around average I guess. $100 isn't too bad. $50 is the "buy it now" price.

Update on my situation: I found a Commodore wrecker that has some plugs (for $5 each) but I didn't have time to get around there today. Maybe next week.

So they're not the same as Commodore plugs? Where do you get the "2 female pins" from? When I had a look a few days ago it seemed the pins on my clip are already approximately the right size and shape, just the clip was stopping them going on. So if I just remove the old clip and push the pins in, then silicon it up, that should work?

I did mine with pins I bought from Mitre10. I am not sure if the plugs are the same as Commondore ones. Use another set of wires approximately 3" long. Connect it to the new female pins. Test the resistance between the new terminals. If ok, squeeze silicon inside the injector socket and wait for it to dry completely. Connect the 3" long wire to the standard injector loom. You can choose to remove the old injectors plug or hide it somewhere. Preferrably water prove it in a tiny plastic bag. It is important to test the connectivity or it will be too messy to clear those silicon out of the way! Good luck

Unfortunately there are a few different plugs, series 4 injectors are the same as GTR and rb20 ones, the series 5 ones are different, ive been told they may be the same as rb25 ones but i cant be sure they look similar on the fuel rail, anyone have any pics of some or some for sale.

Unfortunately the places im sure will have some are on holidays till the 6th so i may have to wait unless i can find some.

I doubt they are the same as RB25. I have seen those rx7 series 5 injectors. High impedance and top feed. If SR20 uses the same plugs as RB25 then they are not the same. The plug shape is slightly the same as the SARD 550cc injectors (oval). The 2 side grooves for the plug to slide in is slightly off tho.

Damn, I got off work early today and I forgot to go to the Commodore wrecker to see if they fit. I'll try to remember to go this weekend. My injectors look virtually the same as sil21jun's (but from that angle it's hard to tell if they're exactly the same).

    • CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) has existed since the 80's. I'm looking into buying a Hummer H1 and they generally included it.
    • My idle is set at 950rpm though - Moving the timing around 20 degrees is not really what I'd call a calm idle. That said... neither is chop, by definition. The LS ECU likes to adjust timing to hold idle as opposed to air. It'd work, but generally speaking there'd be a discrepancy in the base idle and the IACV would want to move the timing around anyway to maintain said idle. I think I'm just going to keep the timing steady anyway. Preserve my engine mounts.  My aircon is now officially regassed. As the guy was reversing I noticed my reverse lights do not operate, along with my reverse cam. This is a bit distressing, because 100% of guides talk about which wire to connect to backup cams as "the goes with the [other color] wire". Often when doing conversions. Unfortunately the R34 colour wires aren't documented Unfortunately I had a T56 Magnum gearbox with it's reverse switch, which also isn't documented. Unfortunately there's definitely not documentation for people with both of these in the one car. Unfortunately I forgot. After many hours of this, I have a reverse cam and reverse lights again. The wire going through the trans tunnel to the reverse switch had broken. Upon inspection, it looks like this one wire had about 7 spade terminals and extensions in it.. for reasons I cannot possibly comprehend. I also spent the 750 hours required to clean up the wiring behind my head unit which now looks like this: This is a monumental improvement relative to what used to be there WRT triple gauges, head unit, traction control, wideband controller, and whatever the f**k OEM stuff still exists there in various states of connectivity/needed. Next step is to check in at the Exhaust shop to see/confirm how much clearance I have, to decide what mid mufflers or 'resonators' (which are just straight through, narrower mufflers) I can add and hopefully cut out a lot of exhaust leaks, pinhole, v-band or otherwise. But first step will be to 'take a look' before the next step.
    • Fark the AFM card and Nistune, Haltech Nexus S3, DBW, cruise control, flex fuel, dis dat.
    • It's most likely the bolt/bush where the cover bolts back wore and allowed cover to move forward.
    • Still haven't put the injectors and R35 AFM in so we can tune the bloody thing for the HG highflow it got mid last year! I think I can forecast the upgrade path to a bigger twin scroll, external gate, Haltech, flex setup, Samsonas, dis dat, etc will be .... a while away!
